Incident-Packed Bonusprint Gold Cup at Cheltenham
December 10 2004

Monkerhostin took victory in the Bonusprint Gold Cup at Cheltenham after pre-race favourite Our Vic fell at the last fence on Saturday.

After attacking in the home stretch, Monkerhostin looked to settle for second before the Philip Hobbs-trained horse was gifted victory when Our Vic fell.

Thisthatandtother finished second, seven lengths back, while Europa took third in the two mile five furlongs race.

Massac and Redemption both fell at the fourth fence, before Farmer Jack also fell.
