Moscow Flyer to miss King George Chase
December 8 2004
Moscow Flyer will miss the Stan James King George VI Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day and run in Paddy Power Dial-a-Bet Chase in Ireland on the 27th of December instead.
On Saturday the two-mile specialist saw off rival Azertyuiop to win the Tingle Creek Trophy at Sandown.
"Had he been beaten on Saturday I think we would have gone to Kempton," said trainer Jessica Harrington.
Moscow Flyer will now try to win the Grade Two Paddy Power Dial-a-Bet Chase at Leopardstown for the third successive year.
The decision leaves Moscow Flyer's regular jockey Barry Geraghty free to ride Kicking King in the King George.
