Our Vic could miss King George after fall
December 13 2004

Our Vic could miss the King George VI Chase at Kempton Park after falling at the last fence in Saturday's Bonusprint Gold Cup at Cheltenham. While the horse was not seriously hurt, owner David Johnson told the Racing Post that "He is sore and stiff and bruised but that apart he is OK".

"He has an entry for the King George. That is 14 days away and remains on the agenda, but we will just have to see how he comes on."

Johnson also has Friday's impressive Mears Group Chase at Cheltenham winner Therealbandit as another possible runner. "Therealbandit is in the King George as well and he would be an able deputy, though we would have to think about the Pillar Chase for him and for Celestial Gold," he added.
