Therealbandit wins at Cheltenham

The Martin Pipe-trained Therealbandit fought hard to win the Mears Group Chase at Cheltenham and give jockey Timmy Murphy another big race success.

Royal Auclair pushed the seven year old Therealbandit all the way, but Therealbandit was eventually victorious by three lengths. Frenchman's Creek came home in third.

Victory also saw the Therealbandit odds for the King George Chase and the Gold Cup back at Cheltenham in March cut.
